Somerstown Mosaic Mural
A large public arts project in Southsea, Portsmouth.
Completed in March 2006. Joanna Dewfall was employed as lead artist by Dot to Dot, an arts organisation in Portsmouth.
The whole mosaic was made in reverse on paper so that sections of the design could be transported from group to group in the community. Joanna then installed the sections into aluminium trays which were bolted to the wall.
